Optimization of the Buenos Aires University Campus habitat |
The CENTER OF MATHEMATICS AND DESIGN – MayDi – has resumed the project “Mathematical model to optimize activity organization in the University Campus of Buenos Aires” – Project code AR-007. Years 1987-88
Not only circulation and transport research will be updated and re-focused. Energy matters will also be included in this research project. After a series of precise and careful analysis, documentation and interviews to find out today’s campus situation, new statistics will be performed. These statistics will be compared –whenever possible- with the 1987 data.
Finally, a series of mathematical models will be obtained, in order to be applied in simulation systems. The achieved patterns will hopefully help to optimize economical, social and environmental fields for the best use of human, technological and energy resources. |
